OMG! It’s been 6 years since I updated this blog. A lot has happened. Probably much more than any one person would ever want to read. More than I would want to post anyway.
Daughter got married and has 2 kids. Bought a house, sold it and bought another house.
Son graduated from high school. Went to community college, then went to university. Will graduate from Missouri S&T in May 2021 with a degree in Computer Information Systems and 5 minors. I have no idea what all the minors are. The kid is industrious, let me tell you!
Mother-in-law bought a house in Alabama but still lived here… then bought a 3rd house in Alabama. Decided she’d rather live where it is warm and sold her house here to our daughter (her grand-daughter) and now she lives in Alabama.. within 5 miles of the first house she bought there. Still not sure what’s she’s doing with the first house other than my nephew is currently living there and paying rent. She talks about selling it all the time.
Well let’s see some more… Ya’ll all know about the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic.
2020 was a rough year for us. My dad passed away on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020 due to complications from Alzheimer’s. After that the year kind of went downhill for us. Between my husband and I, we lost 17 family members in 2020. Most were old age, disease and one car accident… only about 6 were covid related… we’re not really sure. I don’t think anybody’s really sure how many people just died and how many people died because of covid.
From 2012-2014 I worked at the railroad… I’ve been a housewife ever since leaving that job.
I’ve taken a few stints around a few blocks looking at different tangents… writing a novel, studying up on magic and witchcraft and all that weird esoteric stuff. Had an Etsy shop for a while. Not my thing. really. I tried to make a go of it but I just couldn’t make myself do it consistently. I have TONS of graphic designs. So maybe I will start uploading them here. If they sell, they sell. If they don’t they don’t.
I’ve moved on, but they’re still cute!
I’ve come to terms with my procrastination. It’s getting better.
Well until the next time… Maybe tomorrow morning I’ll write again. I have lots to tell you!
